Next stop: New Haven

I had a great time playing some shows with Stern and Hazel-Rah. Now I'm headed (literally) out the door to do a recording session with Secondary Deviations. The session is taking place at Firehouse 12 studios in New Haven. It'll be nice to finally see the place.

I made a re-mix because I thought it would be fun. And if you are wondering, "What does Forbes think?", well first off my opinion doesn't matter. Secondly, I think this whole thing is stupid, but it's also funny, which is why I made the song. Lastly, I was born in 1977. That last thing should clue you in.

My first remix..

So I started working on a re-mix. It was not easy, in fact I'm embarassed to say that I ended up using a garageband loop for the beat! The whole loop based thing is definitely something else. Not to mention trying to get the bpm right, etc. Much harder than one might think. I know that it's going to be stiff and kind of crappy sound but hey, you have to start somewhere! Anyway, I'm going to try to wrap it up tonight and then I will post it.
